Job Description
The Field Sales Representative (FSR) executes the client’s sales strategy. This includes creating and maintaining rapport with our prospective and existing customers, conducting field visits to their locations to deepen our relationship, and ensuring that our products have adequate space and the correct branding materials accompanying them at customers’ physical locations.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities:
- Answer customers’ questions about products, prices, and availability.
- Recommend products to customers based on category assortment and performance data.
- Write orders through the order processing system.
- Provide customers with product samples.
- Become an expert on the energy category in customer stores to optimize product presence to drive revenue, which includes monitoring market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales.
- Perform administrative duties, such as verifying distributor orders have been delivered and completing expense reports.
- Contact regular and prospective customers to introduce new products, gain new placements, expand distribution points within the store, and solicit orders.
- Identify prospective customers by identifying prospective new retailers through knowledge of the assigned territory, using business directories, following leads from existing clients,
- Negotiate with retail merchants to improve product exposure, such as shelf positioning and incremental display opportunities.
- Check stock levels and reorder merchandise as necessary.
- Plan, assemble, and stock product displays in retail stores or make recommendations to retailers regarding product displays, promotional programs, and advertising.
Qualifications and Job Requirements:
- 2-3 years of sales experience preferred in the food and beverage industry.
- A high-school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Excellent time management skills
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Good attention to detail and competent written reporting skills.
- Understanding of retail business operations – pricing, margins, shelf space,
- Ability to make quick decisions, operate in an autonomous work environment and take the initiative.
- Strong business acumen, relationship management skills, and customer focus.
- Must be able to lift and move cases of product and place POS physically.
- Must possess a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of state car registration and insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
Job Training
Plenty of on-the-job training will be provided to succeed at this position!
Pay: $44,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
